Food Should Taste Good All Natural Chips

Monday, October 11, 2010

In the world of chips there’s a lot of competition - even among gluten free chips. Some are OK, others are pretty darn good.

These are more than good. Food Should Taste Good makes amazing chips by any standard. The name says so much about food and our expectations of it. Food should taste good, and yet in the world of gluten free snacks, one sometimes yearns for the relative flavorful richness of cardboard.

Crazy thing about these chips is that they taste great and they’re made with totally decent ingredients. Stone ground corn lays the foundation for each variety’s ingredients, with flax seeds, quinoa, sesame and sunflower seeds making appearances on many Food Should Taste Good labels.

I’ve tried them all and love them all. With nearly a dozen varieties to choose from, there’s a flavor for all occasions. My current faves are Sweet Potato, Olive, and the Multigrain.

Be sure to read the package because on the back you’ll find some tasty serving tips. There’s also a helpful explanation of each recipe. The package says they’re great as a cracker or as a chip, which is true. They’re versatile, have a great crunch, and come in so many flavors that you’ll never tire of them. Dare yourself to try the unusual varieties!

  1. I love these and I’m not restricted to a gluten-free diet. My favorites are the Multigrain - and the best thing: Costco (in Seattle) sells them in Jumbo bags that are perfect for a weekend at the cabin or a BBQ party.
